Puerto Rico Light Tackle Anglers

PRLTA needed to run real fishing tournaments from a phone. We built the whole system end to end — a native iOS app for anglers to log catches, a live scoring and leaderboard engine, an admin dashboard for the club, and the secured backend behind it all.

The challenge

PRLTA was running real tournaments by hand. There was no reliable way for anglers to log catches from the water, or for the club to score them fairly and show live standings during an event.

What we built

• Admin dashboard for tournament and member management
• Hardened API with authentication and access control
• Ongoing maintenance, security, and feature releases

The result

The native iOS app is live on the App Store and runs the club's tournaments today: anglers log catches from the boat, the backend scores them against the rules in real time, and the admin dashboard keeps members and events organized. We continue to ship fixes, security updates, and new features.
